Registration for 09-10 Scouting Year

Registration for 09-10 Scouting Year is underway. We are trying to get ahead on our paperwork this year and getting things going early. This registration is for both new and returning Cub Scouts. To be in Cub Scouts a boy must be in the first grade (Tiger rank) or be 7, 8, 9, or 10 years old. We will have registration forms available at the Pompo Picnic on Monday June 1st. Come by and fill out a form, sign up for the fall. If you can't come by, you can download and fill out this form. Then contact Christian Gross at (978) 897-5004 or christiangross@comcast.net. Please note that you will need to fill out page 5 and 6 (essentially duplicates). The fees for registration are $40 for the year. This covers registration through the BSA as well as helping to run the program we offer for the year (primarily awards and meetings). If you wish to subscibe to the Boys Life magazine it is an additional and optional $12.

Pack 39 Stow is a part of the Boy Scouts of America. The BSA helps to provide us support from their local council and provides the overall structure around which we operate our Pack. For more information about Cub Scouting see the BSA website at: Scouting.org

Family Camp Weekend - June 13 & 14

Pack 39 will be attending the KTC Family Camp weekend at Camp Resolute the 13th and 14th of June. The early registration discount (save $ 30.00) for first two people ends May 1st. See the Knox Trail Council website for more info and to register online.

This one day overnighter that is a lot fun for the whole family — Activities included: Swimming, canoeing, row boats, BB-guns, Archery, fishing (bring your own rod), arts and crafts, evening campfire and program etc.
